FROM APION TO DIDYMUS

Greek text:   PTeb 421
Date:   3rd cent. A.D.

Apion to Didymus greeting. The instant you receive this letter of mine put off everything and come to me, for your sister is ill. And when you come, bring the white tunic of hers which is with you. Do not bring the turquoise one, but if you wish to sell it, sell it, or if you wish to let your daughter have it, do so. But do not neglect her in any sort, and do not worry your wife or the children. And when you come, come to Theogonis. I pray for your health.
