Date: About A.D. 346.

To my master and beloved brother Abinnaeus, praefect, from Kaor, priest of Hermopolis, greeting. Many salutations to your children. I wish you to know, my lord, about Paul the soldier, about his running away, praying you to pardon him this one time, as I am too busy to come to you these present days. And another time, if he will not give over, he shall be left in your hands. I pray that you may have health for many years, my lord and brother.
