Platon to the priests and other inhabitants of Pathyris greeting. Philoxenus my brother has written to me, in a letter which has been brought to me by Orses, to the effect that King Soter, the most great god, has arrived at Memphis and that Hierax has been appointed commander of a numerous army to subdue the Thebaid.
